I’m super excited to announce two upcoming performances this September primarily featuring me and my regular collaborator Erin Demastes! The first is on the 13th with the wulf. at coaxial arts and features a program curated by Erin about weird experimental wind instruments and machines designed and performed by her, Matt Barbier, Liam Mooney, Bryan Jacobs, and I. Following this performance will be another opportunity to see me perform - PLANS FOR SURVIVAL IN A SNAKE ATTACK: an evening of endless, infinite saxophone performances featuring Patrick Shiroishi, Marta Tiesenga, Casey Anderson, Erin Demastes, Zaq Kenefick, Garrett Wingfield, and I. This one has been in the works for a while, and I’m so excited to have finally put it together. We’re going to be blowing the lid off the betalevel bunker with some uproarious and out-there improvisations featuring real and speculative saxophones. I’ll be resurrecting my instrument the Saxafone which I debuted at last Decembers World Series at the mortuary. Event page to come!
